Psychiatry Services at CFGC offer psychiatric evaluation, medication management and information about mental health diagnoses to more than 500 children and young adults. Before recommending any medication, our psychiatrists conduct detailed diagnostics, which may require consultation with primary care physicians and treating therapists, review of previous records and additional medical or psychological testing. For many young people, CFGC is the only place they have access to medications that treat depression, bipolar, schizophrenia, trauma or other disorders. We are proud to offer psychiatric services that enable youth living with mental health issues a chance to live full, happy and productive lives.

3. Take medications at the same time each day to avoid forgetting doses, or set reminder alarms on your smart phone.
